DIY: Cluster earrings

February 19, 2014

I randomly found this box with pearls, that a friend had gifted me for my birthday. Sadly the holes of the pearls are so small, that you can't get any thread through. But then I remembered that I had bought a set with earrings from Panduro Hobby, the time I made a pair with shrink plastic. The set contained 3 earring-thingys, so I used my second set on this easy and simple pair.

AM

top - moms old one / jeans - h&m

Today was my first day as a part of an intern week at Clausen & Co., a graphic design company. It was a long trip (about an hour), but the rest of the day was amazing!
Today was also the first day with my new necklace. Arctic Monkeys are releasing their new album "AM" today, so I decided to make this diy. I actually made two, one in gold, and a shorter one in silver. They're not perfect, but since they turned out O.K, I want to make more (but with a different design). Wish me luck!

white acrylic

August 21, 2013

I wanted a new phone cover.
paint bought at Søstrene Grene for 10 kr.
And then i might have gotten a bit out of hand with the white acrylic paint.

I swear the pens & pencils don't look as ugly now, as they do in the picture. They were still in the making!

a little notebook

August 16, 2013

Definitely not the most aesthetically pleasing diy i've ever done -but probably the fastest and most practical.
I was being stupid and cutting some paper (which turned fine), and ended up with an L shaped stack of asymmetrical papers. Given I had complained long about needing a new and very small notebook, I cut  it in two. The nicer looking stack is pinned to my mini board on my desk, the other I transformed into this notebook like thing. I used a hairpin I made when I was younger to keep it together and taped it a bit.
Random doodling on the front.
(also a message to my mom who likes to borrow paper from my room)

Ugly, yet it fits in even the smallest bag & my pocket! I will never have to write story ideas on my hands and napkins again (unless I forget it at home which is a very realistic thing bound to happen).

new door?

August 14, 2013

In the middle of my room, in midst of white walls and (partially) white furniture I have an extra door.
Now, an extra door could be fun, had it at least led to Narnia. It doesn't. Instead I got my dad to promise me to paint it white in the near future, and then made a little collage on it.
I added a polaroid frame around the pictures on photoshop and then printed them. I'll probably replace them when I get my Polaroid back from Austria and can take real polaroids <3
I also hung up two postcards I bought in Lousiana and a picture that is actually a ticket to a photograph exhibition about Alexander Rodchenko in Vienna (the one near the door-handle).

I am a happier person now.
